Recap of 2024… It’s not so easy to process an entire year into a compact text. But like the last few years, I’ll give it a go.

One of the plans I was able to realise last year was taking part in various small creative meet-ups. These meet-ups were a good opportunity to meet people again and to get to know new ones. Luckily, the combinations of people worked really well every time and it was always a great experience, with good conversations and wonderful collaborations. That really made it so much easier for me and reduced my inhibitions for future meet-ups of this kind. Feel free to invite me to upcoming meet-ups so i have reason to get out my shell from time to time.

Together with my photo tours in different parts of Germany, I was able to meet so many wonderful people, gather experiences and also create precious memories in the form of pictures. As the photo tours and meetups were often exhausting and time consuming alongside everyday life with family and work, there was little time and energy left for collaborations in and around Berlin so there were only of few them last year. Let’s see how it turns out in 2025.

One plan that I could only partially implement satisfactorily is the use of my analogue cameras for certain ideas and concepts. There is still a lot of room for further progress. I intend to devote more time and attention to this in 2025. It’s time for me to leave the digital comfort zone more often.

Sadly I wasn’t able to realise a conception and implementation of a new exhibition, group or solo. I think that’s a pity and I’m definitely planning to do it this year again. Anyone who has ideas for concepts and locations is welcome to get in touch with me. Another plan is to be able to offer at least a small photo book this year, so that some selected images are not only available digitally but can also be held in the hand. That’s just a better experience in my opinion. So stay tuned for it.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have spent parts of their time with me over the past year and many times also got creative together with me. In the end, it’s always about the people and the time spent together, the pictures are just a bonus on top.
